The module is uttek Mileage Log – the same software with its own licence key. It is installed next to uttek Dispo (same server or separate web space) and connected to Dispo under Administration › Mileage log › Direct link to uttek Dispo with Dispo's address and API token. The mileage log then reads the planned jobs every 10 minutes: the assigned technician sees a trip suggestion in the mileage log with the customer address, purpose and business partner. At the destination they only enter the odometer reading; cancelled jobs disappear from the suggestions.
Everything else works as in the standalone mileage log: every trip is locked, corrections and cancellations only with a reason and timestamp in the log, hash chain (SHA-256), mileage without gaps per vehicle, audit report and export as PDF and CSV for your tax adviser and the tax office. Costs & fuel receipts, custom fields and the 1 % rule comparison are reserved for the standalone uttek Mileage Log Pro and Enterprise.

Starts with SQLite – no database setup. As your business grows, switch to MySQL/MariaDB (PostgreSQL optional) with the admin wizard: test the connection, migrate all data, verify counts, switch over – with rollback.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need uttek Dispo for this?
The module is meant for businesses using uttek Dispo – the trip suggestions come from the Dispo jobs. Without Dispo, the standalone uttek Mileage Log is the right choice.
How is the module unlocked?
After purchase you receive your own licence key and the download. You install the module next to uttek Dispo, enter the key under Administration › Licence and connect it to your Dispo under Administration › Mileage log › Direct link to uttek Dispo with address and API token.
Can I switch to the full mileage log later?
Yes. You copy the files of the standalone uttek Mileage Log over the module (the data/ folder stays) and enter its licence key – trips, log and settings are kept.
How secure are logins and data?
Passwords are only stored as a secure hash; new passwords need at least 12 characters and are checked offline against a list of leaked passwords. Everyone can set up two-factor sign-in via an authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Aegis) with backup codes, and the admin can require it per role. After 5 failed attempts a login lockout with increasing delay applies; “forgot password” sends a single-use link valid for 1 hour. Optionally home addresses, notes on vehicles, business partners and drafts (trips themselves stay unchanged because of the hash chain) are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with the key outside the web root. The “Security (status)” page shows all measures at a glance.
