Clock-in terminal with PIN (Pro and up)

A tablet at the entrance becomes a time clock: employees enter their PIN, see their time and clock in – without their own account. With attendance list.

More features of uttek Time

Clock in, break, clock out

One click on the PC or phone, optionally with project and time type (work, home office, travel time, business trip). A forgotten clock-out is detected and reported. Additions with a reason; overlaps are prevented.

Timesheets with target and actual

Per employee and month: daily times, breaks, target, actual and difference, weekly totals, public holidays by region, leave and sickness. Overtime account with carry-over, print as PDF and CSV.

Working Hours Act checks

Notices for more than 10 hours a day, too short a break, less than 11 hours of rest and work on Sundays or public holidays. The statutory break (30/45 minutes) can be deducted automatically.

Holidays and absences

Requests with approval, team calendar, remaining leave with carry-over from the previous year, half days. Sickness, sick child, time off in lieu, special leave, vocational school – effect on target hours configurable per type.

Month-end closing and log

Closed months are locked; every change to times is logged with before/after, person and reason. Bulk closing for all employees.

Project times and reports (Pro and up)

Times per project and customer with budget, hourly rate and open billable amount. Monthly overview of all employees with night and Sunday hours, CSV export.

uttek Connect (Pro and up)

REST API and signed webhooks: recorded times and month-end closings to other programs, fetch billable project times.

Payroll export and SQLite or MySQL

Starts with SQLite and zero setup; a wizard later moves to MySQL/MariaDB (Pro and up). In Enterprise: payroll export with hours, premiums and absences, team leads limited to their own department, PostgreSQL.

State-of-the-art security

Password policy with a check against leaked passwords, two-factor sign-in via authenticator app with backup codes (can be required per role), login lockout after failed attempts, “forgot password” by email, HTTPS/HSTS and encryption of sensitive fields – all switchable, nothing forced.
