Weekly and monthly rota
Move shifts by drag & drop, copy with Ctrl, create them over several days. Shift types with times, break, colour, area and required cover per weekday; hours per person and the cover row at a glance.
Rules checked automatically
Rest period, maximum hours per day and week, breaks, days in a row, overtime, qualification, absence, preferences and under-cover – flagged as an error or warning right in the rota.
Swaps & take-overs with approval
Offer a shift to everyone, swap with a specific colleague or take an open shift. The planner approves; rules are checked again afterwards and everyone involved is notified.
Holidays & absences
Holiday, sickness, time off in lieu, college – requested or entered directly, monthly overview for the team. On approval, affected shifts can be released as open shifts.
Templates & copy week (Pro and up)
Save a typical week as a template and apply it to new weeks, or copy the previous week with or without people – absent staff are skipped.
Reports & fairness (Pro and up)
Target and planned hours per person, night, Saturday, Sunday and bank-holiday hours, fairness across the team. In Enterprise: premium-pay export for payroll and team leads per area.

Pro and up: planned shifts to uttek Time as target hours, staff and absences from uttek HR, jobs from uttek Dispo (also via a direct link to the Dispo interface), REST API and webhooks.
State-of-the-art security
Password policy with a check against leaked passwords, two-factor sign-in via authenticator app with backup codes (can be required per role), login lockout after failed attempts, “forgot password” by email, HTTPS/HSTS and encryption of sensitive fields – all switchable, nothing forced.
